Taylor Moore is a writer and journalist living in Chicago. She writes about cities, architecture, development, politics, social justice, and arts and culture. Her reporting has been featured in VICE, CityLab, Jacobin, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Reader, South Side Weekly, Curbed Chicago, and elsewhere. A finalist for “Best Literary Coverage” in the 2019 Peter Lisagor Awards, she is a contributing culture critic with Chicago Magazine and currently serves as secretary-treasurer for the Chicago chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association. Born in China and raised in Orlando, Florida, she lives in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago with her cat.
