Giannella Ysasi Tavano
Giannella Ysasi Tavano is an arts administrator, museum professional and art historian. Originally from Mexico City, Ysasi moved to Chicago in 2017 to receive her MA in Arts Administration and Policy at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ysasi has worked in museums and nonprofit organizations, she was the Woman’s Board Fellow at the Art Institute of Chicago and intern in Performance Programs at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Prior to coming to Chicago, Ysasi received her undergraduate degree in Art History from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, where later on she joined the administration staff in the Art Department. In Mexico City, she has held internships and positions at the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Museo de Arte Moderno.
