Crisis and Community: How Chicago’s Rebuild Foundation Is Closing the Gap Between Art Spaces and the People They Serve

Claire Voon is a Chicago-based freelance journalist, arts writer, and critic. She previously worked at Chicago magazine, where she was an assistant editor for its digital platform. Prior to that she was a staff writer at the Brooklyn-based arts website Hyperallergic, where she wrote breaking news and arts criticism. Her writing has also appeared in publications including The New York Times, ARTnews, Artsy, Atlas Obscura, New York Magazine, and The Brooklyn Rail. Voon holds a BA in journalism and art history from New York University.
