Breanna Grow is a 2015 graduate of the School of Communication at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, where she reported for the student paper, The Vidette. After earning her Bachelor of Science in journalism, Grow worked as a news assistant at The Pantagraph in Bloomington, Illinois. Following a 2-year period working as a freelance writer in the Bloomington-Normal area, including reporting for digital media startup AdaptBN, she returned to the ISU campus as a news correspondent for WGLT. In her time with the station Grow has covered local government and education, as well as produced long-form reports and one-on-one interviews with newsmakers.
